OCE Sheets | Managing Cancer Treatment Side Effects

Oral Chemotherapy Education (OCE) is an NCODA conceived, collaboratively executed resource to provide information about oral chemotherapy drugs and their side effects to both cancer patients and caregivers.

Having cancer or caring for someone with it can be overwhelming; finding reliable information about the medicines needed to fight cancer should not be a difficult, frustrating process.

The goal of Oral Chemotherapy Education Sheets is to provide a tool to caregivers they can pass on to their patients with cancer that will answer drug related questions and help empower patients to become a more active participant in their cancer treatment.

OCE Sheets | Supplemental Information to OCE Resource Sheets

Oral Chemotherapy Education (OCE) drug-specific sheets can be found HERE. The buttons below are supplemental information to help patients understand the various terms they might read and hear when going through therapy. All education sheets are written at a 6th-grade reading level per the Flesch-Kincaid readability formula.

If there are other terms or educational topics that could be added to these sheets to help patients feel free to email contact@ncoda.org

OCE brings you the latest treatment data about Oral Chemotherapy Medicines, communicating vital information to help caregivers and the patients they care for. OCE is a joint project of four healthcare providers dedicated to forward thinking and practice in the care of cancer patients.
