Positive Patient Care Tool: Helping Practices Better Understand Patient Needs and Experience

Patient surveys help determine satisfaction levels for patients of NCODA member practices with medically integrated dispensing (MID) pharmacies. A study designed in conjunction with the Community Link program from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University showed that patients looking for well managed and vigilant care with their provider and pharmacy staff ranked MID pharmacies high in overall satisfaction versus specialty mail order pharmacies.
