ParticipantHey there!
I am not sure if any of your drug reps have reached out to you in regards for the Ibrance change! Ibrance will now be switching to tablets and I have also learned they are blister packed.
I have asked my rep if the insurances will have any hiccups with the change (remembering when Imbruvica switched- many PBM’s still preferred the capsules) and rep said they would ask and get back to me. I am thinking that because Imbruvica Capsules were kept available, that, that was the reasoning for some insurances to state they preferred them over tablets. I have been told that Ibrance will only be available in tablet form.
Expected time frame to role out: APRIL 2020

ParticipantHi Marsha,
Thanks for bringing this important update to the group! I would agree that there may be some delays with insurances around this change. I’ll see if we can find any further information.
Kind regards,
Matt

ParticipantHey Marsha,
I see that Pfizer has updated their website to describe more of the details.
https://www.ibrance.com/tablets
Curious if you’ve run into delays with insurances on the new NDC, etc?
Anything specific you are still seeking to learn/clarify?
Thanks,
Matt

ParticipantGood morning,
They have not released the tablet form as of yet, so I have not been able to run any test claims for the Tablets. I will keep group informed if I come across a PBM that has preference!
Thanks,
Marsha
