Activity Description
The purpose of this CE presentation is to improve learners’ understanding of various acronyms used in cancer diagnostic testing and pathology. Precision medicine is used to determine individualized treatment plans for patients with a variety of malignancies. It is important for nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians to understand complex terminology used in their daily practice. This presentation will provide explanations on what the acronyms stand for, when certain tests are performed, what the results indicate and how treatment decisions are determined based on the results.
