Navigating Cancer Care: Supporting Veterans, Understanding CLL, and Advancing Treatments with Zanubrutinib

Date: August 19, 2025 | 2:00 PM
Date: Tuesday, August 19, 2025
Time: 2 pm EST

Veterans living with cancer face unique challenges: service-related health risks, higher rates of certain conditions, and barriers that can delay or complicate treatment. For those diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), these challenges make accurate diagnosis, risk assessment, and treatment planning even more critical.

Zanubrutinib (Brukinsa®) is one therapy improving CLL outcomes, but its use requires careful consideration—understanding diagnostic nuances, its place in the treatment pathway, and safety factors specific to veteran populations.

In this session, Dr. John Renshaw (Texas Oncology) will share practical strategies for navigating CLL in veterans, applying zanubrutinib effectively, and delivering coordinated, evidence-based care that addresses the realities this community faces.
