Published Date: April 3, 2025

Cazenovia, NY, April 3, 2025 – NCODA is proud to announce that Jonas Congelli, RPh, will join the organization as associate executive director, effective April 21, 2025.

A founding NCODA board member, executive council member, and longtime trusted advisor, Jonas has been a vital part of NCODA since its inception. His transition into this executive leadership role marks a significant milestone in NCODA’s ongoing commitment to advancing medically integrated patient-centered oncology care.

Jonas comes to NCODA from Hematology-Oncology Associates of Central New York, a leading multi-specialty community oncology practice with three locations, 20 physicians, and over 300 employees, where he currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer. Known throughout the oncology community as a forward-thinking and respected leader, Jonas brings with him decades of experience in medically integrated pharmacy and oncology practice operations.

Throughout his tenure with NCODA, Jonas has played a pivotal role in developing and championing several impactful initiatives including the creation of the NCODA Quality Standards establishing the foundational principles that define excellence in medically integrated oncology care. As a member of the executive council, he helped lead the charge on NCODA’s “Going Beyond the First Fill” initiative—creating the framework and value proposition that enabled member practices across the country to dispense oral oncolytics beyond the initial prescription. His efforts have been instrumental in advancing the visibility and value of medically integrated pharmacy (MIP) services and improving patient outcomes.

Jonas has also supported NCODA’s global efforts through the International Oncology Pharmacy Experience Program, where he hosted visiting Japanese pharmacists and facilitated a cultural and clinical exchange. His work has helped promote the U.S. community oncology model internationally and deepen the understanding of how MIP elevates cancer care.

In addition, Jonas has provided key support to NCODA’s Positive Quality Intervention program and Treatment Support Kits, reinforcing best practices in patient education, medication management, and adherence strategies.

“Jonas embodies the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines NCODA,” said Michael Reff, RPh, MBA, NCODA founder and executive director. “We are thrilled to welcome him into this leadership role. His strategic vision, integrity, and deep commitment to patients will guide our Mission and help shape our future.”

As associate executive director, Jonas will work closely with NCODA leadership to further the organization’s Mission and Vision—ensuring quality, value-based care for oncology patients across the globe.
