About this PQI in Action
In an effort to promote higher quality patient care NCODA created the NCODA Positive Quality Intervention (PQI) as a peer-reviewed clinical guidance resource for healthcare providers. By providing Quality Standards and effective practices around a specific aspect of cancer care, PQIs equip the entire multidisciplinary care team with a sophisticated yet concise resource for managing patients receiving oral or IV oncolytics. This PQI in Action is a follow up to the Use of Rasburicase (ELITEK®) for Treatment of Tumor Lysis Syndrome PQI and explores how the Medically Integrated Teams at Southern Oncology Specialists and St. Elizabeth Healthcare incorporate PQIs as part of their daily workflow.
