Our first Nursing Community Gathering of 2026 is all about helping patients get the medications they need—faster, more affordably, and with fewer barriers along the way. Here’s what’s on the agenda:
Jordan Churchill, Head of Provider Growth at RxLightning, will walk through how their platform is easing one of the biggest day-to-day challenges care teams face: navigating enrollment and affordability programs. By bringing patient assistance programs, grants, and foundation support into one centralized portal, RxLightning is helping clinics cut through complexity and reduce delays, so patients can start therapy sooner and stay on track.
Gina Buzzell, CPhT, and Kenzie Harder, PharmD, from SafeNetRx—a drug repository program serving Nebraska and Iowa—will share how their team is proving that medications sitting unused don’t have to go to waste. SafeNetRx safely rescues medications that would otherwise be discarded and gets them into the hands of patients who truly need them, turning waste into access and making a direct impact on lives.
