Meet Your Host: Ginger Blackmon, PharmD
With a warm voice, a sharp mind, and a heart full of purpose, Ginger Blackmon, PharmD, brings both professional expertise and personal experience to every episode of the PQI Podcast. With over 20 years in pharmacy—and a deep background in community oncology—Ginger now serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Initiatives at NCODA, where she leads with compassion and clarity.
But what truly sets Ginger apart is her story. Just one week after graduating from pharmacy school, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 23. After enduring chemotherapy, radiation, and later, a relapse at 27 that led to a stem cell transplant, Ginger’s perspective on life and her career changed forever. Her journey didn’t just inspire her—it shaped her calling to serve patients and make cancer care more human, more accessible, and more connected.
Ginger’s “why” is simple: every patient deserves the best care, no matter where they are.
