This journal club will provide a structured review and critical appraisal of “Educational and Equity Implications of Biomarker Testing and Targeted Therapy Access in NSCLC: Insights from the NIH All of Us Research Program” by Kiel and colleagues. Participants will examine the study design, methodology, key findings, and limitations related to biomarker testing, documentation, and targeted therapy access in advanced non-small cell lung cancer. The discussion will interpret the article’s findings within the context of current guideline recommended workflows and real-world oncology practice. Learners will explore multidisciplinary implications for workflow optimization, quality improvement, and equitable delivery of precision oncology care.
