As the 2025 NCODA Fall Summit begins this afternoon in Orlando, we are excited to welcome oncology professionals from across the world for three days of education, collaboration, and innovation—building on ten years of advancing the medically integrated model of care. This year’s Summit theme, “Championing Medically Integrated Oncology: Celebrating a Decade of Impact,” recognizes the progress and the remarkable contributions of our members who continue to elevate oncology care and transform patients’ lives.
“The Fall Summit is more than just an educational meeting; it represents the power of collaboration and innovation within our community,” said Michael Reff, RPh, MBA, NCODA Founder and Executive Director. “Together, we are not only sharing knowledge, we are shaping the future of patient-centered oncology care.”
Over the next three days, attendees including oncology pharmacists, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals will take part in an immersive educational experience designed to improve patient outcomes across the entire cancer care continuum. From new therapies to practical strategies, the Summit’s sessions address the most pressing challenges facing oncology teams today.
Attendees will explore breakthrough therapies that are transforming cancer care. Sessions will cover bispecific T-cell engagers, the evolution of outpatient CAR-T, precision medicine in GIST, and advances in myeloma treatment. Each program is designed to provide the clinical insight needed to refine therapy selection and improve patient outcomes.
A dedicated session will focus on how artificial intelligence is reshaping oncology practice, offering practical strategies for integrating technology into daily workflows. Additional programming includes discussions on financial navigation amid Medicare changes and advancing health equity through innovative care models.
The Summit recognizes the importance of ensuring continuity of care for patients with cancer. Sessions on geriatric oncology, survivorship-driven solutions, and patient advocacy collaborations will highlight ways to strengthen support beyond medication management. In addition, specialized tracks for pharmacy technicians and students entering the oncology field support professional growth and development.
Disease-focused sessions will provide deep dives into pancreatic cancer pathways, ROS1+ NSCLC treatment, and squamous cell carcinoma of the anal canal, integrating perspectives from nursing, navigation, and nutrition for comprehensive learning.
The Fall Summit is also a place for meaningful connection and collaboration. Attendees can participate in role-specific meet and greets, poster presentations highlighting innovative practices, and sponsored breakfast and dinner sessions that create opportunities for conversation with clinical experts and industry leaders.
The NCODA Fall Summit reflects not just our past, but our legacy of leadership and progress in the medically integrated model of care. Through education, collaboration, and innovation, NCODA continues to empower oncology professionals to deliver the highest standard of patient-centered care.
As we officially kick off the 2025 Fall Summit, we extend a warm welcome to everyone joining us in Orlando. Let’s celebrate how far we have come and look ahead to a future defined by collaboration, innovation, and improved patient outcomes.
