Showcase Your Research
We are now welcoming abstract submissions for the 2025 Fall Summit Poster Session! This is your opportunity to share your insights, research, and innovations with a global audience of oncology professionals.
Abstracts must be submitted by Friday, July 18, 2025. Finalized abstracts are a requirement for poster acceptance.
Your work can explore a range of topics—case reports that highlight patient journeys, innovative educational tools, critical hot topics in oncology, original research that drives progress, or thoughtful reviews that synthesize key knowledge. Every abstract contributes to the dynamic, interdisciplinary conversations that define NCODA’s poster sessions.

Who can submit a poster?
Anyone involved in oncology care or research may submit a poster. This includes encore presentations of past work, provided it aligns with oncology care and/or research.
Who can author a poster?
Anyone with a focus on oncology care or research may author a poster.
What topics are acceptable?
Posters may cover any topic relevant to NCODA membership, including hematology, oncology, best practices in patient care, program initiatives, clinical research, and more. If your work supports oncology care or advances patient-centered practices, it’s welcome.
What topics can be submitted?
Posters may cover a variety of topics, including:
- Case Report
- Education/Training
- Hot Topic
- Original Research
- Review
Examples include practice site management, patient education techniques, program initiatives and outcomes, drug research, and NCODA projects or implementations.
Do you accept Trial-in-Progress (TIP) or Encore posters?
Yes, with conditions. NCODA currently accepts TIP and Encore posters if they are:
- Clearly identified as TIP or Encore during abstract and poster submission.
- Labeled as such in the disclaimer on the poster itself.
Please note: Priority approval is given to posters that are not TIPs or Encores, as space is limited. If space permits, TIPs and Encores will be considered.
Do I need to submit an abstract?
Yes. An abstract submission is required for your poster to be considered and accepted.
Do I need to submit an abstract to have my poster featured during the poster reception?
Yes. A submitted and approved abstract is required for your poster to be featured during the poster session.
How does submission work?
All submissions undergo peer review by the NCODA Poster Committee. NCODA does not hold publishing rights to external abstracts or information—our goal is to provide a platform for NCODA members to share and learn. If selected and approved, all non-sponsor-related presenters must register as complimentary NCODA members.
Is there a submission fee?
No. There is no fee to submit your poster.
I missed the submission deadline—can I still present my poster?
If you missed the deadline, you may be eligible for the B-roll poster option, which allows your poster to be showcased during the event on a continuous loop (without a designated presentation time). For more information about B-roll submissions or other options, please contact posterpresentations@ncoda.org.
What is the format of the poster session?
Posters will be displayed digitally on 65″ TV screens—no printed posters are required.
How does the poster reception work?
Presenters will be assigned a designated time block to present their poster. During this time, you’ll stand by your poster to discuss your work and answer questions from attendees.
Who can present on behalf of the first author?
A co-author may present if the first author cannot attend. If a pharmaceutical company employee will present on behalf of the author, their name and company must be included during submission. The designated presenter must be registered for the 2025 Spring Forum.
Are handouts permitted?
Yes. You are welcome to bring handouts for attendees. However, NCODA does not cover the cost of printing.
How should I format my poster?
Posters must follow the formatting guidelines outlined in the Poster Submission Guidebook. Key points include:
- 16:9 ratio (1920×1080 px, 300 dpi)
- PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF format
- Professional, high-contrast color schemes
- Clear labels on graphs, charts, and visuals

Am I required to use the NCODA poster template?
No. The NCODA poster template is not required. It is simply provided as a resource to help you get started. If you have an existing company or organization poster, you are welcome to use your own template.
Are posters published anywhere?
Yes. Posters and abstracts will be published:
- On the NCODA website
- In Summit Rewind or Forum Rewind (for the respective conference)
- In the NCODA Journal of Oncology Abstracts (NJOA)
