About this PQI
The purpose of this PQI is to compare different dosing regimens of capecitabine to assess efficacy and tolerability in patients with metastatic breast cancer. Patients are living longer as more effective agents become available and will be on therapy for longer periods of time. As these agents prolong overall survival, it is equally important to balance patients’ quality of life since goals of treatment are focused on palliative care.

Essentially, it’s a tool to improve patient care by sharing best practices in oncology care.
