Legislative & Policy Advisory Committee
Educating the oncology community on
POLICIES THAT IMPACT PATIENT CARE
The NCODA Legislative & Policy Advisory Committee (LPAC) is comprised of leading oncology healthcare professionals across the United States. The committee is committed to patient-centered and collaborative awareness of current policy issues.
OUR FOCUS IS ON THE PATIENT
LPAC focuses on enhancing oncology practice and patient care by providing education at both state and federal levels for NCODA members and all stakeholders. We believe that by advocating for improved access to medications, the highest quality of care for all oncology patients can be achieved.
Members work collaboratively to review proposed oncology legislative positions to then provide recommendations for education and outreach programs in which NCODA may participate.

ONCOLOGY LEGISLATION TRACKER
The NCODA Oncology State Legislation Tracking Tool provides comprehensive access to the most up-to-date information on state legislation interests related to oncology health policy. This NCODA member tool allows users to select individual states of interest and access relevant bill numbers, complete bill readings, a brief bill summary and a ‘why it matters’ section for each bill.
LPAC MEMBERS
To better understand the important policy & legislative issues that affect our members and stakeholders, we have assembled a committee of highly dedicated practice leaders and experts in oncology legislative affairs and government relations.

RESOURCES & INITIATIVES
We are dedicated to implementing initiatives and creating resources that are beneficial for our membership and all stakeholders to support
their efforts to enhance oncology patient care. If you would like to collaborate with us, please get in touch with Sarder Sadid, PharmD.
EDUCATIONAL HANDOUTS
NCODA education handouts are created to equip our members, patients, and all stakeholders with information about important topics that affect the practice of oncology. Collaboration with leading subject matter experts ensures the handouts are concise and easy-to-read.

STATE ONCOLOGY DAY
This initiative gives a platform and voice to our members and stakeholders to advocate for our patients at the state level. Discussions with our legislators are of the utmost importance to educate them about issues that affect patient care and oncology practice. We welcome collaboration with organizations as we believe that unity gives us strength.
COALITIONS
NCODA supports coalitions that have collaboration and patient care at the core of its activities. By participating in these coalitions, the voices that support key issues that pertain to oncology patients and practice grow louder.
