WHY DID YOU JOIN NCODA?

I joined so we would be able to gather additional resources to continue building our uro-oncology program around prostate cancer and provide patients with continuity of care

HOW DID YOU BECOME A MEMBER?

I completed the online application for membership.

HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT US?

I initially heard about NCODA from my colleague, Rob Ashford when he was with Bayer.

HOW CAN NCODA HELP YOU?

We’ve have found NCODA to have an unwavering commitment to patient care, from creating tangible patient resources to the energy spent ensuring patient treatment remains in-house from first fill to last fill. We like that NCODA is also fighting for us to be able to stay the course in providing the continuity of care that we and our patients have become accustomed to. In attending the last two NCODA Forum meetings their “Passion For Patients” mission has been quite evident and they’ve allowed for me to bring meaningful information and resources into our practice.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE MORE INVOLVED WITH NCODA?

I enjoy being involved with the Nursing Committee and TSK committee and would be welcome to other opportunities that support our staff, so they are better able to support our patients.

WHAT ARE SOME CHALLENGES YOU FACE NOW OR WILL FACE IN THE FUTURE OF ONCOLOGY?

Urology is “newer” to oncology management and education of our providers and staff is key to ongoing positive patient outcomes. PBM’s are a constant challenge in the oncology dispensing arena.
